Bio

George Price is a contemporary artist who lives and works in Glasgow, Scotland.
His style is self-reflective based on his interests in: Automatism, Mysticism, Celtic Folklore, the Mind (conscious & subconscious) and all forms of nature. George has always been fascinated by the magic of the mind and the general mystery of life itself.
George earned a 1st class Bachelors Degree with Honours at the University of Stirling in Art & Design with Film & Media. During his degree he was able to quench his thirst for exploring the mind and embarked on a spiritual journey in Shamanic Practices.
In his early career he worked as a voluntary Summer School Teaching Assistant at Forth Valley College; helping with printmaking, photography, collage, arts & crafts and video & radio production.
George took a year out to study English, to aid his career prospects and in 2017 started his first art class 'Lose Yourself in Art': a four week course to discover the connection between the creative and the subconscious. With the success of his first art course, he began the Imaginative Art Class; a weekly evening art class for adults to help them discover their creative side and build on students existing creative skills.
Soon after he started work as a Support Worker. He now delivers creative workshops to improve Mental Health & Well-being and incorporates up-cycling in his projects and has an Eco-friendly approach where possible.
George continues to teach the Imaginative Virtual Art Class online during the pandemic and now does personal tutoring (see Tuition menu).
